This is the first album that Jackson actually starts producing and writing for himself. The album features help from Tower of Power's horn section, and Stevie Wonder's ex-wife Syreeta. Its sole single release was the Earth, Wind & Fire-inspired "You Need To Be Loved", which features a saxophone solo from Lenny Pickett.
